MAEL 901 is a customer activated terminal for winning verification.
It can be installed in any point-of-sale and connected to the gaming terminal.
Players can obtain official information pertaining to a game receipt or a scratch ticket in complete privacy and at the same time the point of sale operators can concentrate on sales transactions.
MAEL 901 is perfectly integratable with any game terminal, including MAEL 380 and MAEL 205.

WINNING VERIFICAION AND INFORMATION

• The player inserts the game receipt in an easily visible slot in the terminal.
• The terminal reads the bar code on the ticket and sends the information to the system to which it is connected (generally, the gaming terminal situated in the point-of-sale).
• A code number might need to be entered on the keyboard of the terminal, according to the type of game played.
• The central system controls the game information and communicates the results to the terminal.
• The outcome of the control is shown on the terminal.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

MAEL 901 is an intelligent terminal, equipped with a processor and memory, controlled by a gaming terminal installed nearby.
The connection is made through an RS232 serial line (up to 15 meters) or an RS 485 for greater distances.

The terminal is equipped with:

• LCD 2-line 20-character display, retro-lit;
• a keyboard with 15 numerical-functional keys (can be personalized on request);
• integrated power supply;
• two serial ports;
• adaptor for vertical or horizontal installation.
